Your customer wants coffee at the right temperature. Can you deliver?

Your Heat Challenge Container will be ideal if it

• minimizes heat loss, and
• loses a predictable amount of heat.

Your grade will be determined by the documentation of your planning process, but your contest score will be determined by averaging two numbers: Your Heat Retention Score and Your Prediction Accuracy Score.

• A five star Heat Retention Score (✯✯✯✯✯) would come from a container that kept the initial temperature constant throughout the simulated delivery time.
• A five-star Prediction Accuracy Score (✯✯✯✯✯) would come from a container that could predict the temperature upon delivery to the nearest tenth of a degree.

Each of these scores will be weighted equally to determine your Overall Contest Score. Ties will be broken by weighing the container; the container with the lower weight is preferred.
